6.20. At first sight this little house in Odi appears to be traditionally built. Closer inspection shows that the walls have probably been made of cement blocks and that the poles supporting the verandah roof are metal rather than wood. Pink and light blue paint offsets the brown of the thatch and helps to transform an ordinary building into one of real charm. 1993.
